My Story

​

Hi, I’m Miss Mae, and childcare has been my calling for as long as I can remember. My journey in Early Childhood Education began in 2011, driven by a deep love for helping young children grow, explore, and discover the world around them. After earning my degree in Early Childhood Education, I opened my first in-home childcare center, where I poured my heart into creating a nurturing space for little ones to learn and thrive.

Along the way, life brought new chapters — I became a mom to two amazing children, and those experiences shaped everything I do as an educator. Seeing the world through my own children’s eyes reminded me that early learning should be joyful, sensory-rich, and full of movement and discovery.

In 2020, I took a leap of faith and opened my first licensed Pre-K program. That year was filled with change — including becoming a single mother — but it also ignited my purpose even more. I wanted to build not just a school, but a community where families felt supported, children felt loved, and learning came naturally through play.

Today, my daycare has grown into a full-time, play-based childcare and preschool program built on the belief that children learn best when they’re engaged with their whole bodies and all their senses. Our classrooms are filled with laughter, creativity, and curiosity — a place where children feel safe to explore, make friends, and be themselves.

At the heart of everything we do is a family atmosphere — warm, welcoming, and built on trust. Every child who walks through our doors becomes part of our extended family. My greatest joy is watching them grow with confidence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.
